SUCCESS STORY

Shaheena, a brave lady of 42 yrs, lives in a tent camp in Centre Plate, MZD.

In very early hood, she had deprived of parental bliss. She had a family of ………younger brothers & sisters. As she was the eldest child of her family, so she had to play the role of parents as well as guardian. Now she was the sole earner of her family. She had to manage all the expenditures of the family, to provide them necessities of life and to make them financially strong .She did not lose heart & continue her efforts to re-establish her family. So she began to sew the clothes of her locality. Gradually other needy women joined her and she began to work in a group. Now she has a number of needy women to whom she had to train in sewing skill. For this purpose, she was needed some sewing machines and other materials.

At this stage, KCT has supported Shaheena in accommodating a sewing centre in this tent camp it has provided her ………machines and other necessary material to regulate this centre.

Now Shaheena is doing her work at a large scale. She is also supporting the other needy women by equipping them with the skill of sewing. Now, those women are regulating the expenditures of their families.
